Not a Soul
The last cruise ship departed Juneau last week. Summer is officially over! Downtown Juneau was full of visitors this summer--sometimes as many as 10,000 in a day packing the sidewalks and shops. Now, most of the shops have closed up for the winter months. I took this picture mid-morning last weekend. As you can see, there wasn't anyone else around.

It is always so weird to walk around downtown right after the cruise ships leave for the season. But it is nice not having those silly crossing guards in the street.
